Chief Finanical Officer (CFO) - Plymouth

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is the architect of the balance sheet. The CFO is responsible for determining the required returns of all assets. This includes calculating and applying premiums for liquidity risk, credit risk, interest rate risk, and production costs. The CFO is responsible for all sources of capital including retail and wholesale, and for applying financial theory in order to obtain the lowest cost source of funding, all things being equal The CFO is responsible for all financial reporting, including financial statements and regular analysis of risk and return. The CFO serves as financial advisor to the Senior Management Team, the Chief Executive Officer, and the Board of Directors; and is ultimately responsible for efficiently directing value to the credit union’s members in accordance with board policy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pass the pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check
  • Must meet standards for financial institution bonding.
  • Four-year degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Accounting or related field.
  • CFA Charter, or willingness to obtain certification within one year
  • 10 years experience in banking, securities, portfolio management, or buy/sell side analysis.
  • 4 years experience in managing people.
  • 4 years experience with fixed-income securities trading or money desk trading.
  • 4 years experience either producing or analyzing bank financial statements.
  • 4 years experience using Bloomberg or equivalent trading/analysis program.
  • 4 years experience using ALM software to discount and evaluate financial positions (QRM, Bankware, Sendero, Profitstar, or equivalent program.)
  • 4 years experience with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, or Ginnie Mae structure and pricing.

Teacher Federal Credit Union seeks an experienced Assistant Branch Manager. This position is responsible for a branch’s human, financial, and operational resources to achieve branch growth, member satisfaction, and an environment that promotes financial discipline. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent level of knowledge, skills and or two years of previous Loan Officer Experience or two years of equivalent related management experience.

Branch Manager I

Responsible for leading, planning and directing branch operations. Enhancing the Sales and Service culture by providing exceptional member service through coaching and mentoring.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Supervises the daily workflow of a motivated branch team that provides exceptional service and makes sound decisions through coaching, role-modeling, and holding staff accountable.
  • Trains all branch staff on interpersonal skills. Teaches branch staff to identify member opportunities for financial improvement, communicate recommendations, and provide support.
  • Implements, maintains, and trains operational regulations, policies, procedures, and standards to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
  • Makes decisions and follows policies and procedures for the safe-keeping of credit union personnel, assets, and facilities.
  • Utilizes expert knowledge to underwrite and close consumer loans following established underwriting criteria and lending policies and procedures. Teaches members to use the loan to improve their financial well-being and provides any ongoing correspondence.
  • Accurately and efficiently prepares loan documents.
  • Demonstrates a work style that is consistent with TFCUs values and takes personal responsibility for own learning and development to support those values and the branchs success.
  • Monitors expenditures according to an annual branch budget.
  • Performs other duties.
